Personality: Damian has an overwhelming sense of Pride and Superiority. Despite this, Damian is a surprisingly polite, spoft spoken intellectual. He rarely shows any sign of alarm or distress and often has entire situations planned out well in advance. It is very rare that he is not prepared for events because he plans for every possible outcome. Whenever confronted, Damian is casual and uncaring, attempting to draw his adversary in to conversation and make small talk, which often angers the one he is talking to.

Damian cares very little for his subordinates and all those around him and is willing to use almost everyone around him as pawns. He doesn't believe that he should be held back by any form of morals or ethics often stating that such things only restrict ones potential. Therefore he is willing to use, manipulate or even kill anyone for personal gain. He enjoys toying with the minds of his underlings (which he considers to be everyone) for amusement. The only people who can manage to draw out any form of respect or acknowledgment from him are other Vampires. Although, he can respect anyone with power and intellect.

Weapon Info: Seraphim is a Rapier Damian owned during his human life as a General in Europe. It was crafted by the most skilled blacksmith of that era and was considered to be a 'perfect' sword suited only for a Noble General. Damian carried it through the majority of his human life and through his entire Vampire life in order to maintain his nobility and some fraction of his humanity. Damian's connection to the sword is in many ways spiritual and extends his own gift to the sword itself.

Gift: Shade

Gify Info: Damian has the ability to become a Shadow allowing him to move throughout the darkness unnoticed and attack from his opponents blind spots or simply taunt them in to madness. His body is not limited to the human form and can transform in to any number of horrific shapes. The Shadows around Damian can also be used as extensions of his own body, allowing him to spawn tendrils and other weapons from the shadows. The primary weakness of shadow is of course light, however there must be an enormous amount of light in order to remove all of the shadows from the surrounding area. Small fires or light bulbs will always create more shadows. Damian cannot use his abilities in absolute darkness because there are no shadows.

History: Damian was once a proud General of the French army in 16th century Europe. He was famed for his brilliant tactics and ruthlessness in battle. He belonged to the Noble family Delacroix, which meant "of the Cross" and was considered to be a holy warrior, who fought for the sake of the Church. That was of course all before his mysterious disappearance on his twenty eight birthday. On the eve of his twenty eight birthday, a mysterious visitor came to his chamber while he was sleeping. This mysterious visitor was of course a Vampire. However this Vampire had a very particular taste in blood and only drank the blood of Nobles. He planned on killing Damian, however what he discovered shocked and confused him. Damian was not actually a Noble! After biting Damian, the vampire quick spat out his blood and left him to change.

Damian's mother had an affair with a commoner around the time he was conceived. This commoner of course was Damian's real father so he was only half Noble. This saved Damian's life, but his soul was lost forever. Through the night Damian went through the horrific change in to vampirism. His maid tried to ease his pain, but only wound up getting her neck torn from her spine as she became Damian's first victim. The thirst for blood was too overwhelming for Damian to handle and so he took to the streets to feed upon the unfortunate. After several days he managed to regain some self control and returned to his home in secret. He took his sword Seraphim and left France, never to be seen again.

For centuries, Damian lived as a Vampire. Learning how to control his abilities and his thirst. He still considers himself to be a Noble and a great warrior, but no longer does he consider himself to be a Holy Warrior. Now believing that he is a monster without a soul, he does not allow himself to be held back my an morals or ethical beliefs. He only seeks to further his own selfish goals and become the most powerful monstrosity the world has ever seen.
